On the first burn of your candle, you should let it burn for around 3-4 hours before extinguishing the flame, this will allow the
wax pool to reach the edges of the vessel and will prevent candle tunnelling. After the first burn we recommend you only burn for a maximum of 4 hours before extinguishing and trimming / straightening your wick - always allow the wax pool to reach the sides of the vessel before extinguishing the flame.
